Shane, Andy and Chaz were professional, friendly and so efficient. They easily and quickly dismantled and put back together a bed with that had taken us hours to initially put together when we bought it, lol. Shane also had amazing spacial memory and seemed to know exactly what pieces of furniture went together based on the room they had packed up, so putting things back in the new house was so fast. They were also flexible and accommodating when we wanted to throw some last-minute things in the truck. It didn't hurt that this company was on the less expensive side of the quotes we received. My move with big deal movers was good-they showed up in the pick up window and both movers were efficient and very helpful. Only comment was that they could have done a better job wrapping and protecting the furniture-for example i had multiple dents/ scratches/discolouration to the dresser/bed frame/desk.Posted on Google

I had just laid my husband to rest and needed to move out of our rental house in Ontario Ranch to a smaller one in Rancho Cucamonga. The crew was efficient, fast, considerate, and understanding. Then, 18 months later, I had to move again because the owner had to sell her house due to financial reasons. The team of movers came and were being very careful moving the hot tub to the backyard so it did not get scratched by my gate that was tight to get it through. They did a great job moving and they were very professional. But the original quote was two hours and it ended up being six hours so the total was much larger than expected. I understand it's just a quote but they took inventory of everything being moved and it ended up taking three times longer than what I was quoted so I was disappointed in that. Anne H.August 13, 2024This is the 3rd or 4th time our family has used Big Deahl's for small moves. This time it was my son's one bedroom apartment. He is disabled and will no longer be able to live independently. Because of that, the move was pretty emotionally charged for me, and I really needed it to go smoothly. It did! These guys were super efficient, wrapped all his possessions with care and got it to the storage unit without a scratch. I have never seen movers so good. But that's not the best part: the customer service was stellar, start to finish! I requested a quote online and they got back to me within minutes. All the forms were electronic. Easy! The office staff was so kind and capable, and the guys onsite were very used to their app as well. I just love how so much of this was automated -- it took the guess work out of the day. Like many, I've been hit with mystery charges and extra hours from other companies. This would never happen at Big Deahl's. Their prices are always fair and the workers are fast (saving money in that hourly rate). The cherry on the cake? They managed to Tetris his stuff into a tiny storage unit, with room to spare. Their quote was extremely competitive and beat 2 other companies as did their delivery window, so we hired them. Gregory and his team showed up on time and had the safe out of my old residence within 15 minutes. They were very careful and did not bump into any walls or door jambs. The technique they used was ingenious. Very impressive. They met me at my new residence within 5 minutes after we arrived and had the safe in place within 15 minutes. Well worth the money spent. They were able to stop at my storage facility first to drop off some things and then head over to my new residence. Everything ran so smooth! I would definitely use them again in the future! From Sunil for move set up, to Joe for move resolution. I researched almost all of the moving companies in the area and made sure to review the poor reports to understand how the companies respond to issues. I took into account review that appeared trivial and how the movers responded. Note to companies, respond as sensitive to the to your customers and not as defensive. Your customers have real concerns that you get paid to help resolve. Fix your mistakes when notified. Sunil started the transaction and worked with me to ensure the move was scheduled and our items were secured. Specifically, our expensive items including a large sectional and 8 foot glass table. Sunil worked with us through the whole move and made sure to check in. I got 2 estimates from US Relocation and multiple estimates from other movers and brokers. The estimate that Sunil gave from the date was most fair. We went with US Relocation because of Sunil's responsiveness and attention to our needs. He demonstrated care via email, text, and call. I am really appreciative of the time he took to help get this right. He even scheduled the move almost up to the last day even though the deposit had not been paid. He gave us the time to do our due diligence as he helped worked out our concerns and we researched our options. Once the deposit was paid, Joe took over as Sunil had time off. Joe, also was supportive. His style was a little different from Sunil's but he was also helpful. I received a text the day before the move providing instruction and responsibilities, letting me know my move was scheduled. The lead driver will send a GPS generated ETA text message, including when they arrive. We went out and met the guys, Simon (lead driver), Dustin, and Andy. US Relocation brokered Big Deahl's Movers for our local move. I had researched Big Deahl's Movers in the same way as US Relocation. The big difference was that Big Deahl's did not permit sending responses from Yelp. I wasn't ready to talk to anyone about the move, I want to way my options. Big Deahl's sent Lead Driver was Simon, he stated he had been with the company for 5 years. He and his crew heard my every concern about our needs regarding this move. I made it a point to supervise the move from start to finish, including providing specific instruction about what and how we needed our items moved. We only needed the services for our big ticket items. In hindsight if we had the resources, we might have considered the services for more items. But considering the costs to move, costly. We had not moved in more than 9 years, and we are on the tip of completion, days later. Simon, Andy, and Dustin hear our every concern. They wrapped every item as requested and loaded them professionally, I should have took pictures. The glass top for the table was wrapped well and secured against the wall. All other items were secured in the truck so as not to move. The wife had concerns about the guys talking to one another at times, but I understood that they are human and that some of that is expected. I would expect more if they were robots. They did our move without taking any breaks. They met us at the new house. Set our items where we requested and were on their way in no time. The move took about 5.5 hours, makes since when you want your items secured and delivered in good fashion. Even my wife was happy with their service, even though she was skeptical initially. She was happy her expensive items made it safely and the guys were receptive to her concerns. From scheduling to electronic payment, US Relocation and Big Deahl's Movers did a great job. The only reason why this is not a 5 star rating is that there were a few loose ends found after the guys departed. Plastic on the beds, a piece not set on one of the beds, and the door handles were not placed on the refrigerator. Not a big deal, I can handle those. Thanks Team! Eric O.June 5, 2023First of all, this was one of the more affordable moving companies I came in contact with. Had a move on June 1st and it all started with Elena scheduling everything for me and being prompt and professional with answering my questions and recommending the truck and amount of guys needed based on the size of our move. Patrick and Ruben were two of the nicest people and were hard working individuals. We had some pretty heavy furniture and they came in and moved it all with no attitude and moved at a pretty fast pace. We even were moving to an upstairs unit. Unfortunately when moving to an apartment you have to sign all the paperwork prior to getting the keys. The only downside to that is you are getting charged still by the hour which is about how long it took for the paper work. The thing that shocked me was that both Patrick and Ruben didn't decide to sit around and just do nothing during that time. Even though they couldn't get anything inside until I retrieved the keys to the apartment, they at least spent that time unloading the truck and moving the items outside our unit. Most moving companies I've had in the past would just take a break and kick their feet up and milk the timer. These guys did not! This is the second time I've book Big Deahl's for a move and they have never let me down. I needed to pack and move my entire apartment with 24 hours and the three men got the job done so efficiently and quickly. They got my items moved into my storage unit and everything fit perfectly. Just assume that it's going to take longer than the three hour minimum. Took us almost 6 hours. And I had a three bedroom townhouse. Also there's an extra charge for drive time, be aware of that. Overall, I would definitely hire them again. I had no problems, they were good communicators, very receptive, great attitude from the guys and from the manager. They don't stop. You better have everything ready to go by the time they come. The guys did an amazing job. And they were very fast too. No equipment or furniture was damaged. All of my stuff was transported without an issue. The guys wrapped everything very well. I had a very heavy/expensive couch I was worried about. The team transported my couch without a scratch. From the time I scheduled the move until the last battered box was put into the garage if my new home, they were professional, adjusted to my changing needs, and did it all by caring for my things as if it was their own. Devon and the crew were amazing. They took the crazy room numbering scheme I gave them and put it to work as each box came off the truck. They even put everything in the garage leaving room for my car! What a great experience. I highly recommend them for any of your moving needs. Small jobs, large jobs, they do it all. Every item arrived in perfect condition, as they took care to prepare each item for the trip. Upon delivery they placed everything exactly where I requested. I was given the option of 2 or 3 guys and a chose to pay for three which enabled them to work as a tag team-- one guy in the truck arranging the items as they were brought to him, and when unloading another prepared the items for the other two to bring in. Kiera was wonderful in scheduling our move and eliciting info for an inventory, especially during pandemic times. She checked with us biweekly by text as our moved approached. The moving crew was fantastic. They were professional, prompt (arrived on time), and courteous throughout the move. Bobby was an experienced leader with over 20 years in the industry. He carefully and meticulously reassembled our sleep number bed. Justin and Robert(?) were Herculean. Their strength was incredible as they moved heavy furniture (i.e., dresser, armoire, office desk, etc.) with dexterity while managing stairs and tight corners. All five crew members worked diligently on a warm day, arrived at our new home in a timely manner, and finished the move 2 hours ahead of schedule. Amazing! Bottomline: The final cost for our move was $300 below the original estimated range. The management cares about their movers and sent an additional mover (5 total) to make the move more efficient and less burdensome without additional charge. First met Kiera as she introduced me to the company and went through all the details about what my needs were. She's super friendly and supportive. Here's the important part. Deahl's didn't contract out the job! The guys show up in a clean truck on Monday carefully load everything up.
